Booking Terms and Conditions
THE LODGES
Orchid and Peony Lodges are for for 2 people only. Rental charges are based on the agreement that no more than the original number of persons listed on the booking form may occupy the facility or use the premises.
The site is not suitable for children and we do not allow pets on site due to our livestock. Our Lodges provide a comfortable and calm environment for your holiday as a consequence we do not allow TVs or loud music and would ask that guests respect the privacy and peace other people on site.
BOOKING
Bookings can be made by email or telephone using the details provided on our Contact Us Page. Once we have received your request you will receive a booking form by email which we would ask you to complete and return, and arrange for payment to be made. We endeavour to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours and will hold your booking until receipt of your deposit and booking form, when it will be confirmed.
A non-refundable deposit of 25% is payable by cheque (paid into any branch of HSBC) or by direct bank transfer upon booking, we will provide bank details with your booking form. Final payment is due 8 weeks before the arrival date, a reminder will be sent 2 weeks before the due date. For any bookings made within 8 weeks of the arrival date full payment will be due at the time.
HOLIDAY INSURANCE
You are strongly advised to obtain holiday insurance to cover the cost of your holiday and other associated expenses.
CANCELLATION – ALTERATIONS
Cancellations are to be in writing by the person who made the booking
The following cancellation charges will be applied:

If we are able to re-let your cancelled holiday, we will refund your deposit and final payment (where appropriate), however we will deduct 50 Euros as an administration fee.
GUESTS RESPONSIBILITIES
The Lodge is to be left in a clean and tidy condition on departure.
The use of the accommodation, equipment and any other amenities on site, is entirely at the hirer’s risk and no responsibility can be accepted for injury, loss or damage to the guests personally, or their belongings – including cars.
OWNERS’ LIABILITIES
The Owners shall not be liable to the guests for any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of Public Services, nor in respect of any equipment, machinery or appliance in the lodges or garden; nor for any loss, damage or injury caused by adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes or any other matters beyond the control of the Owners; nor for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the Guest should the property be destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the rental period and in any such event the Owner shall within seven days of notification to the guest, refund all sums previously paid by that guest in respect of the holiday period. In the event of any equipment breakdown the client is asked to notify us and repairs will be completed as soon as possible.
Under no circumstances shall the Owner’s liability to the Hirer exceed the amount paid to the Owner for the rental period.
